Overwatch new playable character Ashe

Overwatch new playable character Ashe introduced in animated short Reunion

In the latest Overwatch short, McCree meets up with the old Deadlock Gang, Athena the robot, and the newest playable character – Ashe.

Blizzard showed a new Overwatch animated short at BlizzCon 2018 called Reunion starring McCree. In it he meets up with his old compadres, the Deadlock Gang, led by Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe.

She is the new playable character, and her omnic pal B.O.B. will be her Ultimate.

During the showing, Overwatch head Jeff Kaplan discussed how cool it would be for all of the characters in the video to be playable. He specifically mentioned Athena the robot, but she needs “more time.”

But Ashe is enough for now and is super cool. She’s a damage character that can fire quickly from her rifle from the hip. Ashe can also use her weapon’s aim-down sights to line up a high damage shot. Dynamite is a favorite too, and her coach gun can put some distance between her and an enemy when fired.

Here’s her biography:

Ashe is the ambitious and calculating leader of the Deadlock Gang and a respected figure in the criminal underworld.

Born into a wealthy family, Ashe grew up surrounded by privilege. Her parents were highly sought-after business consultants and coaches for powerful CEOs around the world. Though her parents paid little attention to her (mostly leaving her in the care of the family’s omnic butler, Bob), they ensured that Ashe had every opportunity to succeed. But a chance meeting with a local ruffian, named Jesse McCree, and an impromptu string of crimes committed together opened her eyes to her true calling. The satisfaction of outwitting her targets and the thrill of getting away with it set her on the outlaw path.

Diablo Immortal, A New RPG For Mobile, Announced At BlizzCon 2018

The franchise is headed to mobile for a brand-new game.

Diablo was for much of its life a PC-only franchise. Now, with Diablo III having expanded to consoles--including, as of today, Nintendo Switch--Blizzard has its eyes set on what might be its most difficult adaptation of the action RPG yet: mobile.

During the BlizzCon 2018 opening ceremony, Blizzard revealed that it is developing a brand-new Diablo game to mobile platforms. Blizzard said it "want[s] to do it in a way that's true to Blizzard, putting gameplay first, in a way that feels right for Diablo." It's described as a full-fledged action RPG you can play everywhere with everyone. It's being developed in collaboration with NetEase.

Diablo: Immortal tells the story between Diablo II and Diablo III, filling in details on what unfolded with Tyrael, Malthael, and others.
A cinematic was shown featuring voiceover from Tyrael talking about the events following the destruction of the Worldstone.
He spoke about its corruption spreading, leading to a CG sequence where a Barbarian attacks enemies in various settings. Just as he's about be killed, he's saved by another of Diablo III's classes, the Wizard. After they wipe out the enemy forces, they're joined by several other characters (the remaining Diablo III classes) as Diablo emerges from a huge cloud of smoke.

Next we were shown some brief gameplay clips. While seemingly catered to a mobile interface (as is to be expected), it does appear to have the same style of gameplay we're accustomed to from the franchise. New abilities will be available for the six classes, along with new zones, stories, and dungeons. It also features online multiplayer, with numerous characters being shown on the screen at once--we counted at least six, which is more than Diablo III allows for.

Real Super Mario as died

Mario Segale, the man who named the video game Super Mario, died last week at the age of 84.
In the 1980s, the Italian-American of the US state of Washington rented a warehouse to Nintendo of America, who decided to name the star of his new video game with the name of the businessman.

Super Mario was originally called Jumpman, but the video game company decided it wanted to give the character a serious name.

Around 1993, Mario Segale gave an interview to the Seattle Times, quoted by the BBC, in which he said he was still waiting for the "royalties checks". According to the British broadcaster, the entrepreneur learned that his name was going to be used for a video game through Minoru Aeakawa, the founder and first president of Nintendo.

Super Mario games are one of the most popular games in the world. The latest plumber's adventure, "Super Mario Odyssey", is currently the best-selling video game for the Nintendo Switch, having bought more than 12 million copies.
